Loved it BOBO exemplifies a lot of job seekers who really believe they can do a lot of things… see they are not experts and do not know how the systems work.
Typical recruiters especially corporate types have a hundred things to do in a day and now they have added BOBO and thousands like him to systems they now have to be accountable for.
They must be in compliance, they must give feedback (this critical step gets left out a lot) they must actually move some people forward to interviews… but which ones and how to sift through all the BOBO’s that takes time… lots of time… and then to make decisions based on the masses of information they do things like let’s single out all the ones with MBA’s… years of history and degrees are always the best way to determine true competency, talent and drive.
